What is TKT Strategy?
TKT Strategy is a momentum-based technical analysis system for the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX/KSE). Every trading day after market close, the scanner processes end-of-day prices for 300+ stocks and applies three independent indicators:
Momentum confirmed — buying pressure is strong and accelerating.
Short-term trend is UP — price is above the 45-day moving average.
Long-term trend is UP — price is above the 200-day moving average.
When all three conditions are true simultaneously, a TKT buy signal is generated. An A+ signal additionally requires RSI ≥ 65 and price well above both SMAs — indicating exceptional momentum strength. Entry is triggered when the next session closes above the signal's alert price.
Once in a trade, a trailing stop-loss tracks 8% below the highest closing price, automatically protecting profits. Positions exit if price falls to the stop-loss level, or if RSI drops below 50 while price breaks below SMA(45) — confirming momentum has ended.
TKT Investor Strategy
For long-term investors, TKT Investor Strategy uses the SuperTrend(10,5) indicator to identify major trend reversals in KSE-100 stocks. SuperTrend plots a dynamic support/resistance line based on Average True Range (ATR) — when price crosses above it, the trend flips from bearish (red) to bullish (green).
SuperTrend flips from RED to GREEN on any KSE-100 stock. Alert high (the day's high price) is recorded.
On any subsequent session, closing price exceeds the Stage 1 alert high. The day's high becomes the confirmation high.
The next session's intraday high exceeds the confirmation high. Entry is taken at the confirmation high price.
Positions target 50%+ gains over months to years. There is no stop-loss — the strategy relies on the SuperTrend remaining bullish to signal when to exit. This approach is designed for patient investors in strong fundamentally sound companies.

How often are signals updated?
Signals are updated every trading day after Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) market close, typically by 3:45–5:00 PM PKT.
